How to prepare for a photo shoot
dressed
I recommend keeping your style and wearing clothes that you like and are comfortable in! There is no need to run out to buy clothes in particular.
1. Make sure your clothes are not wrinkled/worn
2. Stick to your style.
3. Try to preserve a certain color especially in family photos.
4. For pregnant women: belly shirts, oversized shirts with a top, wide pants, tight dresses, these are some of the options that always photograph beautifully.
5. Can always peekin the photo galleryand take inspiration.
If the footage is out
If you scheduled outdoor photography in the winter months (November - March)
1. On days that are a little cooler, dress accordingly, knitwear, etc.
2. Keep in mind that the set date can fall on a day with rain/wind and then simply move to a new date.
Children
Photographs with children can often cause concern that the shadow of the parents, what if they don't flow, smile and want to be photographed.
1. Let go!
2. Flow with the children - you can play with them, read them a book and if they feel like jumping on the couch/bed then flow with it, these are the real moments and these are the pictures you will love the most in the end.
3. They alone will already smile at the camera without you asking and even if they don't it's okay.
Makeup, hair
Again, as I wrote about the clothes, stick to your style and what you are used to on a daily basis
1. You can do your own makeup at home if it's something you normally do, totally possible.
2. If you want to do hair makeup then yes I recommend going for something very natural especially if it's photos at home.
If the photos are at home
The whole beauty of home photos is that they are photos that record you as you are in the environment that is most comfortable for you, so there is no need to do anything special at home beforehand.
1. Yes, it is possible to sort out the small items and picfuxes in the house so that they don't take the focus.
2. If you are taking pictures in the bedroom, you can, if you feel like it, put bright/uniform/white bedding.
2. Move the laundry rack from the living room.
3. Remove the dishes from the dishwasher.
How to feel comfortable in front of the camera
Not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera and doesn't always know what to do
1. Trust the photographer (me..) I already know what to do.
2. Share your concerns with me.
3. Put on music it always makes everything better!
